We offer guiding services and sell apparel, but that's not really what we're about...

"Unpopular Outdoors is a weird name for an outdoor guide service and a business that's trying to promote the outdoors."

We hear that all the time, and we agree. We did that on purpose. For us, it's an everyday reminder to push us towards our mission - Get more people interested and involved in the outdoors to help protect our hunting, fishing and trapping rights. Unfortunately, these activities have become unpopular in a lot of areas. We want to help change that.

Today's world is changing, some things for the better, other things for the worse. Both sides can be debated, and everyone has an opinion. That's what's great about living in America, you can think freely and you're allowed to have an opinion. Not everyone will like hunting, fishing and trapping, we understand that, and we respect you if you don't. Our goal is to introduce as many people as we can to these activities. Showcase them in a positive, honest, and enjoyable way. Display all the things that these activities can teach us - respect, perseverance, mental toughness, self control, compassion, conservation, and happiness, among many other things.

If you give hunting, fishing or trapping an honest effort, truly try to understand it, what it can teach you, what it can do for conservation; and if you still don't like it, still don't agree with it, that's ok! We can appreciate that you gave it a try. All we ask is that you agree it's not for you, but can understand and respect that it is for us.

- The first step in wanting to learn something new, or try to understand it, is knowing that the opportunity even exists. We want to bring awareness to all the outdoor opportunities that exist right in our backyard.

- The next step is to experience it first hand. We want to find a way to create hands on opportunities for all youth who want to participate in the outdoors.

- Lastly, we know hunting/fishing/trapping isn't for everyone, it's not realistic to believe everyone who experiences it will react the same way. We want to bring light to the fact that that's ok! Our HOPE is that by offering the hands on opportunities, you can make that decision with first hand knowledge and personal experiences. If you decide it's not for you, we hope you can see why it's something special for others, and even if we have differing opinions, it's something we can all agree on that needs to be protected.

We respect your passions, please respect ours.
